ahhh so i have randomly chosen to update this. random seems to be a term used here thats about as obvious as getting slapped in the face with a piece of wet paper. why someone would hit you in the face with wet paper, i do not know. deal with that on your own. i'm at USD now and i loveeee it. except i feel tempted to tell many a girl that she, in fact, is NOT wearing pants and or shorts underneath her tank top. my friends here have informed me that this is an intentional act. (yes... i do have friends. no... they don't know that the checks i've written them to be my friends won't clear). crew here is redefining my life on a daily basis. i love these girls ALMOST as much as i love tv. yup, i said it. TV. i'm willing to throw out that level of commitment right here. today was a shit hole practice for me... for sure tagged a buoy, and technically didn't tag that concrete one... i also may or may not have collided oars with sam's 8 about 41 times within a two and a half hour time span. in closing, i won all the points at today's practice. though sam threatened to come back at me and scrape off my entire bow 4. point stealing bitch. things are getting messy with the love scene here. went on a date with danielle on friday... today in the boat we discussed this and then i told my boat that kat is my valentine and danielle almost burst into tears and refused to row for the rest of practice. then kim switched in kat for danielle and things were in an uproar. then i told kat about my date with danielle. think having a boyfriend is hard? how about two girlfriends! (please note that all of the previous jokes about my "dates" are entirely fictional and i am in no way romantically involved with two girls. or one girl for that matter). i'm currently waiting outside of my civil war and reconstruction class room because its not yet "time" to enter. who sets the random times here? it truly is an art form. This class is questionable but awesome. Its such a sick class, no lie there. I’ll probably update this now even though I am doubtful that anyone will read this…. You heard me ladyshady! so a really freakin long time later...
i just randomly felt like updating this thing, mostly because i was reading over some of my old entries and have decided that i am indeed hilariously funny. and if you do not agree with that it is no one's fault but your own for not having a good sense of humor. annnyways, today: i woke up, realized that it was NOT sunday morning ( thank God, sunday's suck. no offense to God, cuz it was all his idea to begin with), worked on my chem lab for like two hours and made up a really cool as well as incorrect way to do math problems. someday everyone will realize that math is from satan and it will be banned from everywhere. or maybe not. don't kill my dreams. then i went to the carwash, which was nice.
molly, sam, and i went to the mall. i definately NEEDED two new pairs of shoes. and by needed i mean kind of wanted but needed them like i need a hole in my head. but i bought them anyways. but the creepiest part of the whole mall experience was in victoria secret. i was buying some more underwear that i "need" to add on to the two other full drawers that i have. no, this is not a joke. and the guy in front of me in line was waiting for his girlfriend to go get a different pair of sweatpants and he was holding her other soon to be purchases. he was staring at me in a weird way so i commented that i liked his bra. so creepy man (as i now refer to him) and i got to talking. not the awkward kind of talking either. the kind where he thinks we're best friends. he even asked me what i was buying. what if i had been buying something really embarassing like granny panties or a size AAA bra? well i wasn't but anyways, so then he asks me if i go to ASU. i was thinking : "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! I'VE NEVER BEEN MISTAKEN FOR OVER TWELVE IN MY LIFE!!!". but i just said no that i was still in high school and that i was only 17. he was astounded and said that he thought i was at least 19... what a creeper. so then his girlfriend walks back up and he acts like we haven't even been talking. then she walks away again and he starts chatting up a storm. it was really weird. and when he walked away molly was like, "what a cheater!". not gonna lie, best day of my life: i no longer look like a pre-teen. yesssss. story of my life. literally.
quote para la dia courtesy of ELLEN DEGENERES: " I'll see these stray dogs wandering in front of houses and they look so sad. I just feel compelled to do something to rescue them. Sometimes it's hard because they're tied on a leash on someone's front lawn, so you've got to untie it. Or worse, they're behind a fence, so you need wire cutters (which I always have in my car) to get them out. 'C'mon, girl. I'll rescue you and find your owners.'" |

Ahhh so haven't written in forever. Last weekend the crew team went to Lake Merced, San Francisco, California! On Friday night (of last weekend) Fran and Emily came over... (the Friday Lunch Bunch) we had to go to the carwash to get my car vacuumed out because EMILY trashed it. So we did that. Idk, but there's just something about getting my hair sucked up by a vacuum...Then we had crew then we went to the movies then we came back to my house and did our hair at like midnight. Which is all well and good, but we had to wake-up at 4:00 the next morning to head to the airport for San Fran. <<See my photobucket link in my profile>>.
So our race was good. Great actually. But I won't bore you with the details. All you need to know is that Sam's boat won so she got chucked into the lake.
And now, to this weekend. Well, its only been just Friday. So today ws career day, I noticed that my third period class was supposed to be something therapist. I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Can anybody actually see me as a therapist? I can see it now...
Person- So basically everyone in my family hates me, I have no friends, and telemarketers have even stopped calling... perhaps its because they always say that they'll call back and they never do....
Me- Well, sucks to be you. When you're good and ready here's what we'll do: You will get into your car and drive off the nearest cliff.
Then I realized that that was a psychatrist and my class wasn't about that at all. See now wasn't that a nice story? Oh and if LIZ reads this then I wanna give props (or something) to Rehab Plus aka Tim's. Daniel is complaining about Tim's killer ab circut. HOW HOT IS THAT? Can't wait till this summer! Oh yeah, so at practice today we had to do a 2k and I beat my previous time by 9 seconds! Woot woot! We also did some pieces on the water too... and so tonight (Friday night), me and Daniel went to Sam's for poker night. It was funnnn! I got some good pics but unfortunately I left my camera at Sam's so I'll have to update them later... Hasta luego.

So on the lovely night of Emily's sweet 16 bday dinner we went out to dinner at Ayako's in the Biltmore. Here is a picture of Sam after I threw this hideous dress on some random person's car and she went to retrieve it and then tried to throw it in my car window but I rolled it up too quick (I'm quick like a cat...).
The novice crew girls! Emily-- the birthday girl! And Tessa and Alex.
Ahh its gossip time... Alex very deep in conversation about who did what with and to whom. Dirrrrty. "It's like you're in LOVE with me or something!!"
The coolest people there. I'm not gonna lie. I look like I have a facial disease but really I'm just sunburned from crew on Saturday. Then there is the beautiful Brittany Ashby (the soon to be one of me and Rachel). And yet, when Rachel and I asked Brittany to go over to the guys that were staring at us and tell them that she was a lesbien she said "I'm not that far along yet" - To becoming me and Rachel that is. Aww my little evil child is almost all grown up.
The twelve year old's with the almost mullets that were staring at me seductively getting chocolate icing all over my face. And also stuffing my face in with my delicious meal. I can't see how anyone would find that sexy. "Wow, I've never seen people go throw up in groups before!" -Rachel Loutos.
My ever so enjoyable Shirley-Temple. Rachel makes me take the weirdest pictures.
My food! Yummmm. I arranged it all so that nothing was mixed up. No Rachel, I'm not obsessive compulsive... much.
Emily drowning her rice in soy sauce.
People hate it when I take random pictures of them eating... perhaps thats why I love to take them?
Alex and Fran! I really liked Alex's jacket, so cute.
Molly and Brittany being incredibly interested in Emily's sad unwrapping of the presents. I filmed a lovely scene in which Emily proceeded to drop all of her presents on the floor but I can't put it in here :(
Sam and Alex! You'd never know that they're sisters!
Me and Frannie. Again, I look like I have problems. And yet I put it in here anyways.... what is wrong with me?
Rachel sleeping before everyone got there because she is dead tired from pole vaulting today. Hah.
Emily and Maddie. What hotties. Awww.
Sam, Molly, and Brittany! Too bad they weren't on the cool side of the table with me, Rachel, and Emily.
Overall it was a very fun night. When I first got to the Biltmore, I went into Victoria Secret to get Emily a giftcard. Well, my credit card was definetly declined. Perhaps its because I've spent over $175 this week? Hmm. Well. I bought the gift card with another giftcard and then I bought underwear too. I have two whole drawers of underwear. And I don't mean like the small drawers either, they're like 3 feet long and 2 feet wide. I have problems. Oh and the lady that sold me my underwear turned out to be Casey Thorne's older sister! Small world all you San Fransiscans out there... But yeah so it was good, any kind of party where you leave with underwear has gotta be a good one! Happy sweet sixteen Emily!!!
Oh yeah, and on Saturday night, I went to dinner with my daddy, Mr. Loutos, and Rachel at the Ritz Carlton. It was soooo good! Hilarious people.

He'll say, 'Wow look, the Bulls are on', then he'll be like, 'Hey this is a great movie', and right when you start to get interested he'll change to the next channel! So last time he came to visit I took the batteries out of the remote control and when he tried to use it I was just like, 'Sorry Dad, it hasn't worked for awhile.'" -Mr. Bill Loutos. Hahaha hilarious! |

Hmmm yes, tis Saturday.
On Thursday (also known as The Day In Which There Is No Crew Practice), after school me and Rachel went to El Bravo, then I took her home. Stopped by Daniel's to see his rollercoaster that he has to make for school. Then went to Sam's to go dress shopping in her closet for the father/daughter dance. I helped her study for the Cosden mythology test. Went to the Gelato Spot. Got some for Daniel and my mommy. Went home, ran back outside, left for Daniel's. Got to Daniel's. Gave him gelato. Left Daniel's. Went to Rachel's to watch the OC with her and her grandma. They weren't there so I let myself in and watched it all alone. Yes, I know, that's not weird at all. Then I went home. Does this explain to you people out there with nothing to do how crazy my life is?
On the day of Fri, we had gayyyy school again. What idiot invented school and how were they assassinated? Anyways, so afterwards me, Fran, and Emily went to Quiznos then came back to my house and watched the OC, took a short nap, then went to crew. After two and a half hours on the water (in which i furthered my hideous sock tan), practice was over. So then me, Molly, and Emily headed home. Fran left her wallet in my car... it was all I could do not to hit Starbucks. Molly and Emily got picked up after eating all the food in my house. Then I took Bennett to the movies and headed over to Daniel's. It was about 6:30 when I got there, thankfully after his other lover had already left. Hot damn do I love being forced into Daniel's schedule or what!? Where is the love? So we watched Troy and I made some sad attempts to help him with his rollercoaster. After also making sad attempts to push Daniel out of the upstairs window. Yeah, I'm joking. Do you really think I'm dumb enough to leave evidence behind? Come on you avid Alias watchers out there...!
Back to today. Saturday. This morning, another early morning, I had to be at Tempe Town Lake at 7:45AM. I enjoyed or rather, endured, 4 hours worth of seat-racing and scrimaging the 12 year olds. I also got a rather sexy short tan. Meeeowwww. Tonight: Dinner at the Ritz with Rachel, her dad, and my dad and then to the father/daughter dance.
IT'S EMILY'S SWEET SIXTEEN TODAY! YAY!!! and Fran got her liscence!!!

| | The Phantom of The Opera CD | ] | So last night (that's Sunday for all you non-calendar users out there), me and Emily went to the movies.Yay. Another fun night with my em to the em. First we stopped at Sam's house to give her a get well present. It was from Emily and it said "When i get tired of shopping I go try on shoes". That's my life. How pathetic am I? But anyways, me and Emily saw "Hitch". It was cute. End of that story. Oh and I must include that Emily is the best ghetto car dancer that has ever lived. And also her quotes that made me practically piss my pants I was laughing so hard: "There's a Daniel for everyone, I just haven't found mine yet". And then there's "It's like "The Sixth Sense" except for its, "I see foreigners"." Thanks for that Emily. Of course on Saturday night I went to pick up Rachel. We went to this new used book store that opened up near her house (hah, new used... that's an oxymoron. Ok I'm done now.). And there is a whole badass section of true crime books. So anything from killer cults, to serial murders, to the supposed spawn of Satan, we bought it. Then we came back to my house and watched "Wicker Park". It was quite the confusing movie, but good all the same. I liked it overall. Oh and we were eating strawberries and powdered sugar and I choked. It was special. Annnyways. A little snipit from me and Rachel's pointless banter: Me: I thought you broke it and I was gonna have to ask you to leave my house. Rachel: Well, I'm perfectly ok with that cuz I know where the key is and I'd let myself back in. Good stuff, great times. I've bored myself with writing this so I'm gonna stop now.Oh and if anyone cares, its me and Daniel's 5 months today. This time around, that is. ok so i'm not lying when i say that it really creeps me out that i had this random desire to update this pointless piece of poo. i refuse to create a my space cuz i find those to be psycho disturbing. i mean, if people are gonna stalk me, i wanna at least make it difficult for them rather than giving out all the information available about me out... no offense to those that post "shirly madenbrough, my addresss is 14927 E. Weltshire Rd, and thats just 1 mile east of shea...". if thats not craziness then i dont know what is.
so tonight i went to the house of emily martin. but first i took my weekendly excursion to blockbuster. i have reached a new low. the guy at blockbuster, without even opening up my account, remembers me by face and asks me if i enjoyed my last rental (we had a short, unimportant conversation about it during my previous visit). i think i have to find a new movie rental source... when people anywhere start to recognize me i get concerned.
so then i went to emily's. we watched like 20 mins of 'napoleon dynamite' but it felt like 5 hours. i'm sorry, but worst movie ever. i cannot believe that everyone actually was amused by that fatally boring movie. then we put in 'envy' (with ben stiller and jack black), figuring this movie has famous people in it, how bad can it be? well we didn't finish it but the plot had something to do with disappearing poo. i lost interest.
oh but earlier in the day (i feel like i'm reading a really odd magazine article... except i'm writing it and none of this makes sense so nevermind). i had crew afterschool. we did strength tests today... as many pushups you can do without stopping (my standing record is 50) and then bench pulls (my record is 56). and then we ran around the ever-so-entertaining canal twice (about two miles) but it wasn't that bad. yeah, it was raining and it was muddy, but no one fell in the canal. at least not this time... but thats a different story. actually its not though cuz i just totally made that up. whatever though.

Dear (whoever), . . .Your body odor is so foul that I would rather smell babies diapers for a living than stand next to you for more than 10 seconds. . . I do know where you are from, but in America we shower regularly and use soap-- please change your ways. . .
Dear (whoever), . . .Working with you is similar to listening to the same song for 48 hours straight. . .If I had not learned to avoid you as much as possible, your personality would have forced me to quit by now. . . It would be more humane to have a co-worker eternally listen to the sound of fingernails scratching against a chalkboard, than to have them work with you. . .
Dear (whoever), . . .In life there are those of us that were not blessed with any social skills. You are one of those people. . . Talking to you is a complete waste of my time. . . Please think before you speak,. . .You will please everyone by keeping quiet and staying to yourself. |

Well lets just start off with Friday: Crew at 6am, BCP rally, school, sit on my ass, crew, get ready, pick up Daniel, Brophy vs. St. Mary's football game with Daniel. Kids next to us were completely drunk, and hilarious. Girls behind us were complete idiots: what does ballon mean? Yeah, its kind of like that, leave game, stop at Wendy's, take Daniel home, come home, Daniel calls. Sleep.
Saturday: Daniel calls to wake me up, starve, do homework, go to El Bravo for lunch, watch 5 hours of ER, talk to Daniel on the phone for a good portion of those 5 hours, go out to dinner at Houstons, Daniel texts me every play of the ASU game (I do not care), sleep.
Sunday: Wake up, Einsteins and Starbucks, homework, Daniel's birthday card for 3 hours < I kid you not>, talk to Daniel non-stop on el telefono, read one chapter in A Tale of Two Cities, sit on my ass, do a whole lot of nothing, work on Daniel's birthday card some more, eat dinner, be bored, update my live journal with my extremely socially pathetic life, cry when I realize I have nothing left to write.

SO. On Saturday morning I went over to Sam's. I was the slave of the day, I cleaned out Sam's closet and put her clothes in color and size order. (You may laugh, but I am NOT joking). I watched her pick up her dog poo, I wanted to take pictures but she wouldn't allow for that <party pooper (yes that IS pun)>.
Then Sam came over to my house and we went to BlockBuster and rented 'Cruel Intentions', 'The Girl Next Door', and 'Bring It On Again'. (Just for the record I would like to state that when I die, I'm leaving all my money to BlockBuster and all that money can go to people's late fees). 'Bring It On Again' as incredibly gay as the title may suggest, funny parts but overall: bleh. 'The Girl Next Door': muy bien. Some raunchy parts but it was overall a very good movie. 'Cruel Intentions': now I had never seen this movie and neither had Sam, it was soooooooo good! Ryan Phillipe is a h.o.t.t.i.e. But too bad he's married to Reese Witherspoon, though they are a cute couple, he should have held out and waited for me! (yeah I'm not a COMPLETE psycho, therefore I AM joking). And black is definetly his color, along with every other color though haha.
So then we went to bed and woke up and went to Phoenix Public Library to get information on our authors for our term paper for H English with Cosden. Lots of hobos, and lots more of B.O. I seriously wanted to donate my deodorant to those people and I realized after leaving: that is why I take a shower every day. If nothing else for the rest of my life, I will be happy if I can get a nice shower every day. AMEN.

Friday is by far the longest day of the week. I wake up at exactly 5:03 to race off to crew weight lifting at 5:35 (be there at 6am=craziness). Then the school day, though it only goes until 12:10, seems to drag on almost endlessly. I mean, wow is it just me or does 5th period geometry with Mrs. Grubisic never cease to bore anyone within a five mile radius? Well that was basically how my day went. WooHoo.
Then after school, my mommy forgot me and didn't pick me up until 12:55 and that is mighty hot when wearing a sweatshirt. We went to El Bravo (the aforementioned best mexican food in the entire universe EVER). Then I came home and watched two hours of E.R.
Then Daniel called and I went to his house to watch Double Jeopardy and Taking Lives and to go to Blockbuster and Streets of New York. It was quite fun except while watching Taking Lives (great movie btw), we fell asleep for about an hour haha. This is what crew turns my life into. And the saddest part was that I was laying on the floor, and it was comfortable.
And now its 10:21 pm as I type this and I realize I have nothing left to write because yes, my life IS that pathetic. Whatever.

ok so my weekend has been pretty damn good.
friday: crew before school (easy, just weight lifting) then school then crew meeting after school. proxima, i went to blockbuster to rent scary movies for rachel's house. (i ran into coach fox at blockbuster... thats for all you san fransicans out there) so i rented: 'the omen', 'wrong turn', and 'session 9'. so at rachel's house (with sam) we watched 'the omen'. then johnny called and asked if we wanted to come over so his parentals came and picked us up. so at the casa de daniel (aka johnny) taylor morton was there and so was michael ong. they played poker, or rather made it up as they went along....
saturday: i went to lunch at houston's with my dad and then we went to fashion square mall. i have discovered that i <3 shoes. i could have spent all my money on them (and i damn near did)! but i got lots of cute stuff and i'm very happy/ very poor now. then me and my parents went and hit golf balls (i havent hit balls in like three years but they forced me to do it). then we went and picked up jonathan daniel hansen and he came over and watched 'wrong turn' with me.
sunday: basically nothing because its only 10 in the morning as i'm writing this. but i missed out on going to chuch cuz i woke up too late... <damn> and i have mucho la tarea to do....

Ok so lets imagine that today is the day of Fri: it is in the morning and I am with The Sexy Beast. My day is going just swell. So then mi dia continues, es muy bien. Then I entered 5th period geometry *ominous music plays, lights darken, woman screams* Then IT hit me. Yes IT. Hunger. All I wanted in the world was two shredded beef tacos sans tomatoes from El Bravo. My mouth began to salivate. I fear I may have drooled on the desk. So I watched the violent red numbers on the clock crawl the minutes away. My exact thoughts as I looked, yet again, at the clock, "Wow, has it only really been 2 minutes since I last looked? Has time slowed down? Am I dead?" At last the merciful bell rang, releasing me from my all too permanent prison. As I stepped out the door Iv was instaneously calling my mommy. "Mommy", said I, "can we please have El Bravo?" When the desired response was received, I informed Rachel what we were to eat. (Cuz she was comin home with me). If this is was Genesis in the Bible it would say, "...and God created El Bravo and when He saw what He had created, He decided that it was good. Morning came and evening followed, the third day".
So after El Bravo was finished and Rachel had completely drained the salt shaker on the chips, we went to Blockbuster. We rented Romeo and Juliet con Leo DiCaprio (that boy is hot but he can't act worth a bag full of beans) and Taking Lives. Taking Lives is a great movie, and though Rachel was previously on scary-movie-probation for forcing me to watch the nastiest movie in the history of the world aka House of 1000 Corpses. I must comment and say that Taking Lives is by far one of my new favorite scary movies. It was muy interesante, me no aburre. The ending was phenomenal and Angelina Jolie is good in this movie despite her mistake of having sex with a psycho killer, but hey it could happen to anyone (?!).
So then we went to the Brophy game con Sam and Greg. Idk about you people, but when I carpool to a game with someone I do not feel it necessary to STALK them. For example, I sometimes carpool with my little bro, which is convinient seeing that we live at the same location. But I DO NOT think that is cool or even the least bit funny to hang out with him once we get there. So stalking is cool, if you do it right and nobody catches you in the act. Moving on.
Then after BCP won, me, Rachel, Mr. Loutos and Mrs. Loutos (here on after referred to as Bill and Barbara) went to Mary Coyle's. Their ice cream is muuuyyy buenaaaa. Now, when I eat ice cream at home, I don't usually have in shipped in from Antartica, but no offense to those that do. Mainly the staff of Mary Coyle's who obviously did do the aforementined because it took us almost AN HOUR to have our FROZEN deserts served to us. Now I would be understanding if, perhaps, the restaurant had been packed, but it definetely WASN'T. I rather enjoyed Barbara's comment, "How is it that the employees keep ringing up stuff at the cash register? Do they realize that they have to serve the food before people will pay for it?" So Bill and Barbara: next time I have two hours to spare I will indeed venture to Mary Coyle's with you.
